About Me

Hello and Salam!

I’m Shah Ahmad, an engineer, technologist, writer, and a well-wisher of Pakistan. Although I live abroad, my heart remains deeply tied to Pakistan and its potential for positive transformation. This blog, Awoken Nation, is my personal platform to share insights, explore ideas, and foster discussions on issues that resonate far beyond Pakistan’s borders.

For over 40 years, Pakistan has struggled under the weight of systemic misrule, dominated by a political elite that often prioritizes self-interest over national progress. Like many in the Pakistani diaspora, I found myself abroad, where the lack of connections to these elites was no longer a barrier to opportunity. Yet, my hopes for a better Pakistan remain unwavering. Figures like Imran Khan have shown us glimpses of courage against the status quo—though imperfect, they have sparked a new vision for Pakistan’s future that resonates with many, myself included.

Through Awoken Nation, I aim to use Pakistan’s experiences as a case study in resilience, self-reflection, and growth. This blog is dedicated to understanding three interconnected areas:

Apart from these passions, I also strongly advocate for continuous self-improvement and growth. Whether it’s exploring the latest in artificial intelligence, discussing the dynamics of ethical leadership, or even honing my skills in table tennis, I believe in the power of self-discipline and learning.

Awoken Nation is for everyone—Pakistanis, members of the diaspora, and anyone who believes in the possibility of positive change. Together, let’s dive into these conversations, challenge the status quo, and imagine a future where informed, ethical, and tech-empowered societies can thrive. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
